AUTOMATIC ROD COATING SYSTEM

The MRC-1000 coater is a two-roll coater designed to apply functional barrier coatings and pigmented decorative coatings. Automatic controls have been incorporated to ensure ease of operation. High-speed, high-volume operation on the MRC-1000 an be as simple as threading the paper through the coater and pressing the "start" button.

SYSTEM FEATURES

The Metering Rod Assembly is the very heart of the MRC-1000 Rod Coater. During the coating operation, the Metering Rod Assembly presses the rod against the substrate, supported by the coater's backup roll, producing a consistent coating application with a uniform appearance across the web.
